Model 44 - cannon frigate Aurora was built by the famous Russian master Mikhail Bezverkhniy.

Aurora is a sailing frigate of the Russian Imperial Fleet of the type "Hurry" of the 44-gun class. It was founded on November 23, 1833, at the Okhten shipyard. The building was headed by the lieutenant colonel of the Corps of Ship Engineers IA Amosov. Disappeared on July 27, 1835, joined the Baltic Fleet. In 1836 he was in practical voyage in the Baltic Sea. July 3, 1836 in the Kronstadt raid participated in a solemn meeting of the Baltic Fleet. From 1837 to 1843, each year as a member of the detachment of Rear Admiral FP Litke was on a voyage in the Baltic Sea for the practice of the General Admiral Grand Duke Konstantin Nikolaevich.
